Your Questions Answered

I’m not in your service area, do you offer a virtual design service?

If your project is not within our service area, we can offer a virtual design using Google Meet. Let’s have a chat about your project and decide if this is right for you.

How do you work as an interior design business, do you have a process?

Absolutely! We’ve put together a brief overview of how our 4-stage interior design process works to help you visualise what to expect. The process can be found here and of course, we’re more than happy to talk you through it.

Do I need a Discovery Call before starting my project?

A Discovery Call is a great starting point. It's a chance for us to chat briefly and understand your project goals, ensuring we find the perfect service that suits your needs. Keep in mind, a quote for your project can only be given after a paid consultation where we discuss the full details of your project scope, your aspirations, budget, and timescales.

Is there any preparation required for the paid consultation?

Before the paid consultation and depending on the service you’d like, you’ll normally receive a brief online questionnaire. This may help you think about key aspects of your project and will allow us to prepare before we meet.

What happens during the paid consultation?

Depending on the service chosen, we'll get to know you and your project goals, gather details about the space, and take measurements (for in-person consultations), your style preferences, budget and timescales. After the paid consultation, you'll receive a summary of our discussion, the proposed Scope of Works and a Service Agreement.

Do I need to sign any paperwork?

Before we dive into your project, we’ll create a Scope of Works and sign a Service Agreement (all parties with a legal interest in the project). This way, we’re are all on the same page regarding the work details, costs, payment terms and timescales. Your written approval will also be required at various stages of the project.

How do you calculate your design fees?

Our prices are tailored to the specifics of your project. Every project is unique, and quotes are provided after a paid consultation. We work closely with our clients to meet their aspirations within budget and on time.

We normally offer a fixed design fee for our packages, with some variable fees depending on the scope.

What about payment expectations?

The paid consultation fee is due 48 hours before the appointment. Package payments are split into instalments and are due at the beginning of stages in the design process.

Do you have a preferred design style?

We love contemporary and modern design, but our expertise spans a range of styles. Our goal is to translate your preferences into a cohesive and personalised design that reflects your taste and suits your space.

Can you work with existing furniture or decor, or do I need to start from scratch?

We can absolutely incorporate your existing furniture and decor into the design process. Whether you wish to revamp your current setup or start fresh, our services are flexible and tailored to your needs.

How long does the interior design process typically take?

The duration of the design process varies based on the project's complexity and scope. From the initial consultation to design completion, it may take several weeks to a few months.

Can I make changes once the design process has started?

We encourage collaboration and aim to accommodate changes whenever possible during the design stages.

What level of involvement can I have in the design process?

Your involvement is entirely up to you. Whether you prefer a hands-on approach or want us to take the lead, our process is flexible to accommodate your desired level of participation.
